His emergence, with other elected members at this critical time is a welcome development and a clear indication that the party is ready to move forward with renewed strength and unity, this is sure will drive solution to the party’s challenges,” Durodola said.

According to him, the new chairman’s experience as Deputy Governor under the late former Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, and his long-standing loyalty to the progressive movement in the state, would prove invaluable in repositioning the party for greater cohesion and electoral strength.

“Chief Adeyemo has demonstrated over the years that he possesses the experience, maturity and political understanding needed to guide the party. His leadership will undoubtedly help in stabilising the party and addressing some of the challenges we have faced in recent times,” he added.

According to Durodola, the new chairman possesses the leadership qualities needed to reconcile aggrieved members, rebuild trust within the party and promote inclusiveness among stakeholders.

He said Adeyemo’s emergence had rekindled hope among party members who had long desired a unifying figure capable of bringing together various tendencies within the party.

“One of the greatest needs of the APC in Oyo State today is unity. I strongly believe that Chief Adeyemo has the ability to reconcile aggrieved members, rebuild confidence within the party and bring together different interests for the collective good of the party,” he stated.

Agoro also urged members of the party to rally round the new chairman and support his leadership in order to achieve unity and progress within the APC.

According to him, the task of rebuilding the party requires collective commitment, loyalty and dedication from leaders and members alike.

“This is the time for all members of the APC to put aside differences and work together with the new chairman to build a stronger and more vibrant party. Unity and cooperation will be key to achieving success,” Durodola said.

Durodola, a lawyer, further called on Adeyemo to prioritise internal democracy, fairness and transparency in the management of party affairs, stressing that such values would enhance confidence among members and attract broader support.

He added that the APC must focus on strengthening its grassroots presence and reconnecting with the people through policies and programmes that reflect the aspirations of the electorate.
