Kola Asatola Asanike Felicitates Christians on Christmas, Urges Love, Peace, Unity

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and philanthropist, Prince Kola Asatola Asanike, has extended warm Christmas greetings to Christians across Nigeria, calling on them to uphold the values of love, peace, unity and selfless service symbolised by the birth of Jesus Christ.

In a goodwill message released to the media to mark the celebration, Prince Asanike described Christmas as a season of reflection and spiritual renewal, stressing the need for collective commitment to building a more peaceful and harmonious society.

He congratulated Christians in Oyo State for witnessing another Christmas, noting that the period provides an opportunity to strengthen family ties, foster community bonding and promote national cohesion.

According to him, the essence of Christmas lies in love, sacrifice and humility, values he said should guide interpersonal relationships and inspire positive contributions to society.

Prince Asanike urged residents of Oyo State to use the festive season to encourage peaceful coexistence across religious, ethnic and political lines, emphasising that unity remains vital to sustainable development.

While acknowledging the prevailing economic and social challenges facing many Nigerians, the APC chieftain encouraged citizens to remain hopeful, prayerful and supportive of one another.

He commended the resilience of the people of Oyo State and reiterated his commitment to philanthropy, youth empowerment and community development, assuring that he would continue to support initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of the less privileged.

Prince Asanike also called on leaders at all levels to draw lessons from the message of Christmas by prioritising the wellbeing and interests of the people above personal or political considerations.

He concluded by wishing Christians a peaceful Christmas celebration and prayed for good health, renewed hope and prosperity for Oyo State and Nigeria in the year ahead.
