Oke-Ogun Top Chief; Durodola, Extols Agbaakin Adeagbo at 50

Chief Femi Durodola, the Agoro of Okakaland, has extended warm birthday wishes to his brother, Chief Niyi Adeagbo, the Agbaakin of Ipapo and former chairman of Itesiwaju Local Government Area of Oyo State, on the occasion of his 50th birthday.

Durodola who praised Adeagbo’s dedication to public service and his contributions to the development of grassroots governance in Oyo State said the birthday milestone marked a significant achievement in Chief Adeagbo’s life.

Agoro’s greeting was contained in a statement released on Monday and made available to journalists in Ibadan, highlighting Chief Adeagbo’s achievements and contributions to public service. The statement underscored Adeagbo’s commitment to the ideals of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and his efforts to promote good governance at grassroots level in Oyo State.

As a prominent chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Adeagbo has made significant impacts in the political landscape of Oyo State and this explains why Chief Durodola praised his commitment to public service saying “Chief Niyi Adeagbo is a dedicated leader who has consistently put the interests of the people above personal considerations.”

Describing Adeagbo as a “skillful politician and good listener,” Durodola noted that his brother “prioritizes public concern and believes in inclusive democratic practice.”

This approach, according to Chief Durodola, has endeared Adeagbo to many in Oyo State and beyond.

“My brother, Chief Niyi Adeagbo is a forthright politician exciting the potential for populist aspiration to occupy the front line of activities in governance,” Agoro said in the statement, adding that “Agbaakin Adeagbo’s leadership style is a beacon of hope for many young politicians in Oyo State.”

Chief Durodola also recalled Adeagbo’s tenure as chairman of Itesiwaju Local Government, stresing he demonstrated excellent performance and a deep commitment to serving the people.

“During his tenure, Chief Adeagbo showed remarkable leadership acumen, and his achievements remain a testimony to his ability to deliver results,” Chief Durodola said.

He continued, “His respect for party leadership supports his social splendour as he relates with everybody with a sense of humility,” Agoro added, noting that Chief Adeagbo’s humility has earned him the respect of his peers and colleagues.

The Agoro of Okakaland and lawyer, further expressed his confidence in Adeagbo’s continued contributions to the development of his people and the APC as a party.

“I have no doubt that my brother, Chief Adeagbo as a politician will continue to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of local administration and promoting the ideals of the APC,” Durodola, a philanthropist, said.
