Biting Your Partner Is a Form of Romance, Says Actress Honeypot

Nollywood actress and social media personality, Onwuson Faith Ifeoma, popularly known as Honeypot, has said biting can be a form of romantic expression between partners.

The actress made the statement while speaking on The Honest Bunch Podcast, where she shared her views on affection, intimacy and relationship values.

According to Honeypot, expressions of love and closeness vary among couples and should not be limited to conventional gestures alone.

“There is kissing, there is cuddling and there is biting. Biting is a form of affection,” she said.

She also explained that she does not place much emphasis on sexual activity in relationships, noting that emotional connection, respect and understanding matter more to her.

“I am not really a sex person. I can stay months without it, and I say that confidently. One minute of sex is enough for me,” she said, adding that she does not engage in casual relationships.

Honeypot further spoke on cultural expectations in Igboland, where she said a man’s level of success is often reflected in how well his wife is cared for.

“In Igbo land, you may see a man dressed casually, but if you want to know if he is doing well, look at his wife. A man’s money should reflect in his home. Even if a woman works, she should still be taken care of,” she said.
