In another effort to promote community health and expand access to medical care at the grassroots, Dr. Amuda Hafeez Kingsway, a 2027 Oyo State House of Assembly aspirant, is hosting a free comprehensive medical outreach for residents of Akinyele Local Government Area, Ibadan.
The initiative, organized under the Kingsway Community Health Outreach in collaboration with Grace For Impact, is scheduled for Thursday, November 13, 2025, at the Akinyele Local Government Secretariat, Funduk, Moniya, beginning at 9:00 a.m. prompt.
This outreach represents one of the most extensive health interventions yet under the Kingsway Community Health Outreach programme.
Unlike previous editions that primarily offered general consultations and basic medical assistance, this year’s exercise introduces a broader range of specialized services, from general health checks and professional counselling to dental and eye care. It is a deliberate step toward addressing some of the most pressing but often neglected health needs within the community.
Residents attending the outreach will have access to free medical consultations, medications, and vital sign checks such as blood pressure, sugar level, weight, and height. In addition, this edition will feature full dental and optical care units.
For the first time, beneficiaries will enjoy free dental screening, scaling, and polishing to improve oral hygiene. Likewise, the inclusion of free eye examinations, eye drops, and eyeglasses is expected to bring relief to those suffering from untreated vision problems, particularly low-income earners who cannot afford the cost of optical services.
Speaking ahead of the event, Dr. Hafeez Kingsway said the outreach reflects his long-standing commitment to advancing community wellness beyond campaign promises.
According to him, healthcare should not be a privilege but a right accessible to every citizen, regardless of social or economic status.
“This outreach is not just about giving out free drugs or conducting tests,” he explained.
“It is about restoring hope, building a healthier community, and ensuring that even the most vulnerable have access to quality medical care.”
Beyond treating illnesses, the programme will also provide health education and professional counselling, guiding beneficiaries on lifestyle adjustments, preventive care, and follow-up support.
Dr. Hafeez emphasized that the goal is to encourage long-term wellness through continuous community engagement and accessible healthcare delivery.
