Stanbic IBTC has announced the commencement of applications for its 2025 University Scholarship, offering a ₦160 million fund to support 200 undergraduate students across Nigeria.

The annual scholarship programme is designed to promote academic excellence and encourage hard work among Nigerian youths. It is open to students who sat for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and have secured admission into any federal or state university in the country.
According to the bank, successful applicants will receive financial support throughout their studies, with priority given to those pursuing courses related to the “future of work” such as Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Accounting, Finance, and Information Technology.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, applicants must:

Be resident in Nigeria.

Have participated in the 2024 UTME with a score of 200 and above.

Provide proof of admission and enrolment in a Nigerian federal or state university.

Present clear copies of their UTME result, admission letter, O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB), and a valid government-issued ID card.
The scheme excludes employees of Stanbic IBTC and their immediate family members.

Application Process
Interested candidates are to complete their applications online by visiting the official scholarship portal, filling in personal details, and uploading the required documents. Only applicants who meet the criteria and follow instructions will be considered, with winners contacted via valid email addresses.

The deadline for submission is September 16, 2025.
