Cherubim and Seraphim University Set To Commence Academic Operations In 2026

The Cherubim and Seraphim University in Kwara State is expected to commence full academic operations by 2026, according to Reverend Esther Ajayi, Chairperson of the C&S Centenary Anniversary Steering Committee.

Ajayi, who is also the Founder of the Love of Christ Church, Lagos, disclosed this during the centenary lecture of the church held in Lagos. She noted that construction of the university was already 80 percent completed.

Highlighting the vision behind the project, Ajayi described the university as a landmark achievement that reflects the church’s commitment to human development in its 100 years of existence. She explained that the institution would help mould future leaders with sound character and strong moral values.

“With the decline in moral standards, the university will serve as a buffer against amoral behaviours, instilling the values required to advance society,” she said.

Ajayi added that the establishment of the university aligns with the C&S mission of promoting holiness in everyday conduct and grooming students to become responsible citizens.

“The church is setting up institutions and structures to advance its bridge-building mission. A renewed C&S inspires generations and the global community to rediscover its roots and engender true human service,” she stated.

According to her, the church also envisions the university as a platform to raise bold minds who can evangelise globally and correct growing anomalies that threaten humanity.
