Organisers of the popular reality television show Big Brother Naija have announced that its highly anticipated 10th season will premiere over two nights on Saturday, July 26 and Sunday, July 27, 2025.
The new season will feature the show’s biggest grand prize yet — a record-breaking ₦150 million, according to Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of General Entertainment at MultiChoice Group.
Speaking at a press conference held in Lagos on Wednesday, Tejumola described the upcoming season as “a celebration of legacy” and assured fans of a thrilling 10-week experience filled with intense drama, strategy, and entertainment. The show will conclude with a grand finale on October 5, 2025.
“Today, we are not just announcing another season, we are celebrating a legacy,” Tejumola said. “While the official theme for Season 10 will be unveiled on the premiere night, viewers can anticipate a fresh wave of excitement.”

She also confirmed that popular host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu will return to anchor the season.
“This 10th season also has the highest prize at stake – valued at a whopping ₦150 million,” she added.
Tejumola highlighted the cultural impact of Big Brother Naija, calling it more than just a television show. “It’s a living, breathing cultural force. It has given voice to a new generation of talent, creatives, entertainers, and the influencer community,” she said.
She noted that the 2025 edition will build on the show’s legacy, with a two-night live opening show set to kick off the season in grand style.
This year’s season follows a nationwide audition process that began with online registration from May 3 to May 7, followed by physical auditions in Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu from May 16 to May 18. The selection process aimed to discover the most dynamic and engaging personalities from across the country.
The show, which airs on DStv and GOtv platforms, remains one of Africa’s most-watched reality TV franchises, drawing millions of viewers locally and globally.
