Nigerian students passionate about driving change and influencing national discourse on corruption and cybercrime now have a golden opportunity as MUN Impact Nigeria opens applications for its 2025 Generation of Integrity Essay Competition.
The annual essay challenge invites students across secondary and tertiary institutions to voice their ideas for a better Nigeria by writing on compelling national issues tied to integrity, leadership, and digital safety.
Essay Themes
Participants are to submit essays on one of the following topics:

Tertiary Level (Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges of Education):
“Reclaiming Cyberspace: Policies and Programs Youth Want to See in the Fight Against Cybercrime” -
Secondary Level:
“If I Were the President: My Anti-Corruption Blueprint for Nigeria”
📌 Eligibility Criteria

Open to all Nigerian students aged 14–30.

Applicants must be enrolled in secondary schools, universities, polytechnics, or colleges of education.

Essays must be 1,000–1,500 words and written in English.
🏆 Prizes

Cash awards up to ₦200,000 for outstanding entries.

National recognition for winners.

Winning ideas to be featured in a Youth Policy Brief to be presented at CoSP11, a global anti-corruption platform.
⚠️ Important Notice on Originality
Organizers have issued a strict NO AI policy:
“Essays generated wholly or in part using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools such as ChatGPT, Bard, or Copy.ai will be automatically disqualified.”
Submissions will be screened using AI-detection tools. Entrants must confirm their essays are 100% original and free of any AI-generated content.
