“How I Almost Got Initiated Into Witchcraft Online” – Actress Juliana

Popular Nollywood actress and faith advocate Juliana Olayode, famously known as Toyo Baby from the Jenifa’s Diaryseries, has shared a chilling account of how a random online advert nearly lured her into what she believes was witchcraft initiation.

In a video posted to her Instagram page, Olayode recounted how her curiosity led her to click on a suspicious link while watching a movie on YouTube—an action she says triggered a disturbing spiritual experience.

“I was watching a cinema on YouTube and all of a sudden this advert popped up,” she explained.

“They were saying things like, ‘If you’ve never broken a bone, if you’ve never had this or that, click the link.’ Out of curiosity, I clicked the link and immediately I felt something was wrong. I said to myself, ‘What am I doing here?’”

She described the experience as spiritually unsettling and claimed it was a subtle attempt at witchcraft initiation, masked as harmless content.

“The enemy is so subtle,” she said.

“This is how people get initiated into witchcraft and all sorts of things.”

In her strongly worded message, Olayode emphasized the increasing digital spread of spiritual manipulation, warning that witchcraft today no longer hides behind night rituals or cloaked figures.

“Witchcraft is everywhere,” she declared.

“They’re not hiding anymore. They’re not waiting till midnight to fly, like most of us think. They operate every hour of the day. It looks attractive, like enlightenment, like fun—but not all that looks good is good.”

She warned people to be particularly cautious about spiritual quizzes and curiosity-driven content that ask things like, “Do you know who you were in your past life?”

“There is this unrest in the minds of man. The devil is so strategic,” she added.

“Don’t fall for the lie that you’ve been here before—nobody has. Just because someone tells you something you’ve experienced doesn’t mean it’s coming from the right spirit.”

Olayode explained that many people are unknowingly exposing themselves to spiritual harm through the content they consume.

“You don’t even have to click a link to be initiated,” she said.

“It could be through a movie, music, a novel, or even a ‘witch-themed’ store you visited for fun. Now you’re having nightmares, strange feelings in your room, hearing voices, battling anxiety or fear. Some people are even misled into burning incense to ‘cleanse energy’—it’s all a trap!”

She urged her followers to guard their “gates”—the soul’s entry points such as eyes, ears, and mind—and called for vigilance, spiritual discernment, and deep prayer.

“You have to be very careful, very prayerful, and highly discerning. The enemy is not sleeping. He’s working relentlessly—and so much money is being pumped into this agenda as well.”

The actress concluded her message with a strong reaffirmation of her Christian faith, urging her audience to seek truth and protection through Jesus Christ.
“The only way to God is through Jesus Christ, who is the Son of God,” she said.

“If you want to experience God, if you want God, go through Jesus Christ.”
