Applications are now open for the 2025 NNPC/SNEPCo National University Scholarship, offering ₦200,000 annually to eligible Nigerian undergraduate students. Jointly organized by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC)and Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCo), the scholarship aims to promote academic excellence and build the skills of young Nigerians.

The scholarship is available to full-time second-year students enrolled in NUC-accredited universities across Nigeria. Successful applicants will receive the ₦200,000 grant every academic year from their second year until graduation.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must:

Be a Nigerian citizen
Be in their second year of full-time study at an accredited Nigerian university
Have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5-point scale (or equivalent)
Not be a recipient of any other oil & gas-related scholarship
Female students are strongly encouraged to apply
