The African Futures Lab (AfaLab) has opened applications for its 2025/2027 Rise Fellowship Program, a fully virtual two-year initiative designed to support activists, researchers, artists, and practitioners developing groundbreaking projects on racial justice, decoloniality, and reparations.
Founded in response to the global Black Lives Matter movement, AfaLab is committed to reparative justice through cross-continental solidarity and transformative action. The fellowship offers participants a vibrant peer network, access to international platforms, and a stipend of €200 for every working session.

Focus Areas: Racial justice, gender, climate, economic justice, AI, and decolonial transformation
