Call for Applications: NNPC–Renaissance JV University Scholarship for Nigerian Undergraduates

The Renaissance African Energy Company Limited (Renaissance), operator of the NNPC/Renaissance/TotalEnergies/AENR Joint Venture, has announced the opening of its 2025 University Scholarship Scheme for qualified Nigerian undergraduate students.

This annual scholarship aims to promote academic excellence and capacity development among Nigerian youth by offering financial support throughout the duration of their undergraduate studies.

Scholarship Categories:
The scheme is merit-based and divided into two categories:

National Merit Award (NM): Open to all Nigerian students
Areas of Operation Merit Award: Open to indigenes of Renaissance’s operational communities in Bayelsa, Delta, Imo, and Rivers States

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must:

Be citizens of Nigeria
Be full-time undergraduates in a Nigerian university accredited by the NUC
Be in 200 level during the 2023/2024 academic session
Not currently benefit from any other scholarship in the oil and gas sector

Opening Date: June 20, 2025
Closing Date: July 25, 2025

For Operational Area Award applicants only:
Community identification letters signed by the Paramount Ruler and the CDC/CEC Chairperson
