The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba AbdulRasheed Akanbi, has claimed he survived what he described as an attempt on his life involving a trailer allegedly “sent to kill” him.
In a now-viral video shared on Tuesday, the Osun State monarch recounted the mysterious incident as a testimony to divine protection. Though he did not specify the exact time or location of the event, Oba Akanbi said the trailer collided with him but was miraculously overturned and badly damaged in the process.
“A trailer that was sent to kill us hit us and fell flat, extremely dented,” he said. “It was dragged away by angels of God. Except you do not choose God. Don’t have doubts while trusting God.”
The monarch attributed his survival to divine intervention, asserting that he saw angels of God physically dragging the vehicle away after the impact.
Oba Akanbi’s statement has sparked conversations online, with many expressing awe and curiosity about the incident, while others seek further clarification.
