The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has announced a fresh review of its service fees, which will take effect from August 1, 2025. This adjustment, the Commission says, follows a comprehensive evaluation of the current economic landscape, rising operational costs, and consultations with key stakeholders.
In a public notice released Tuesday and obtained by newsmen, the CAC stated that the decision is aimed at strengthening the delivery of efficient, technology-driven services aligned with the evolving needs of Nigeria’s business community.
“The Commission wishes to inform the General Public, Esteemed Customers, and all Stakeholders that in the continued efforts to improve its service quality and delivery, it has become necessary to review certain service fees effective the 1st day of August 2025,” the notice read.
According to the Commission, the revised fees are modest, competitive, and designed to sustain service excellence, especially as operations are increasingly digitised. It emphasised that the new structure is necessary to preserve the integrity and efficiency of Nigeria’s corporate registry.
“This decision follows the careful consideration of prevailing economic realities, rising operational costs, as well as engagement of critical stakeholders ahead of implementation,” the CAC stated.
The Commission reiterated its commitment to transparency, accountability, and customer satisfaction, and assured stakeholders that the changes are intended to ensure long-term sustainability and responsiveness in regulatory service delivery.
