Nollywood actress and filmmaker Bolaji Ogunmola has opened up about surviving two near-death experiences in May — a month she described as overwhelming but filled with gratitude.
In an Instagram post captioned “May Dump,” the actress revealed she narrowly escaped a car accident and later endured the collapse of the POP ceiling in her sitting room. Reflecting on the ordeals, Ogunmola apologised to fans and colleagues for unanswered messages, saying simply: “Life was happening.”
“I am well, and everyone is okay,” she assured, before humorously adding, “Don’t just say sorry, ask for my account number or send a new car.”
The heartfelt post drew emotional reactions from fellow actors and fans alike. Actress Bisola Aiyeola and Omowunmi Dada responded with warm wishes, while Efe Iwara added, “We thank God for life.”
In a brighter update, Bolaji also reminded followers of a major milestone from earlier this year — the unveiling of her new mansion, which she plans to use as a film location. She encouraged fans to support her movies, noting that furnishing the new space would require some help.
