The bustling Bodija Market, Ibadan, Oyo State is poised for a green transformation as the Rolan Foundation, in partnership with Climate Action Africa, YALI Network Oyo, and the Rotary Club of Ibadan West District 9125, prepares to launch the highly anticipated Ibadan Eco-Clean initiative. This community-driven event is scheduled for Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 8:00 AM, bringing together citizens and stakeholders for a united push towards environmental sustainability.
A standout feature of the event will be the donation of two compost bins from Climate Action Africa. These bins will enable the community to convert food waste into nutrient-rich fertilizer, supporting local agriculture, reducing waste, and encouraging eco-friendly practices.

The Ibadan Eco-Clean project is an evidence to the power of partnership and collective responsibility. With the active involvement of youth volunteers from YALI Network Oyo, media partnership by Briefing Brew, and outreach support from the Rotary Club, this initiative aims to foster lasting environmental benefits while galvanizing community participation.
“Maintaining a clean and healthy environment benefits everyone,” stated a representative of the Rolan Foundation in a press release on their social media platforms. “By joining forces with passionate partners and dedicated volunteers, we’re not just cleaning up, we’re cultivating a sustainable future for Ibadan.”
Community members and volunteers are strongly encouraged to get involved by contributing their time, energy, and voices to this critical clean-up effort.
The Rolan Foundation is also calling on sponsors and supporters to help amplify the movement by offering financial support, resources, or by spreading the campaign’s message across their networks. For partnership and sponsorship inquiries, please contact:
