Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday and controversial relationship coach Blessing Nkiru Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, surprised fans with a public reconciliation during the star-studded wedding of Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood icon Iyabo Ojo, to Tanzanian singer Juma Jux.
The lavish traditional wedding, held in Lagos on Thursday, brought together a host of celebrities and notable figures. Amid the glamour and cultural elegance, the spotlight briefly shifted to Nkechi Blessing and Blessing CEO, who were seen laughing and catching up warmly—putting an end to their previously tense relationship.
In a video shared by Nkechi Blessing on Instagram, the actress expressed joy over seeing her namesake, now engaged to IVD, in a happy place. “Congratulations, Blessing CEO,” she wrote. “Now wey love don find you, hope you go allow us flaunt our lovers in peace. Love is indeed a beautiful thing. Enjoy your new home, my namesake.”
The cheerful exchange marks a stark contrast to their past drama. Late last year, Blessing CEO had taken jabs at Nkechi Blessing’s personal life—mocking her failed relationship and inviting her to a Shiloh programme to “find another partner.” The move stirred controversy online, with many accusing Blessing CEO of clout-chasing.
However, the tension seems to have dissolved following Blessing CEO’s engagement to businessman IVD. In a heartfelt Instagram post, she gushed over her new man, declaring that she’s finally found peace and no longer craves drama. “This is the first time I’m not interested in controversy. I just want peace and softness,” she wrote.
Interestingly, during their exchange at the wedding, Blessing CEO expressed surprise upon discovering that Nkechi Blessing is also an event planner—highlighting how little they actually knew about each other beyond social media drama.
Their unexpected truce added an emotional layer to what was already a beautiful day of celebration, love, and unity. For many fans watching online, it was a reminder that even public figures can grow, forgive, and find joy in each other’s happiness.
