Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, stirred attention over the weekend as he took on the role of a guest minister at the Faith Hill Prophetic Assembly in Piwoje, Abuja, where he delivered a sermon and laid hands on members of the congregation.
In videos shared on his official X (formerly Twitter) account on Wednesday, Fani-Kayode is seen passionately praying for church members during a thanksgiving service, drawing from his personal experiences and biblical narratives to encourage forgiveness and faith in divine purpose.
“Thanks to Archbishop Emmanuel Jatau for receiving me so warmly and allowing me to minister and share my testimony,” he captioned one of the posts.
During his message, Fani-Kayode emphasized the importance of forgiveness, noting that enemies often play a critical role in shaping destiny. He cited examples such as Judas, Pharaoh, Saul, and Delilah, stressing that without their opposition, figures like Jesus, Moses, David, and Samson wouldn’t have fulfilled their divine purpose.
“Never hate your enemy because without them you cannot fulfill destiny. More often than not, what he meant for evil, God meant for good,” he said.
He also urged congregants not to mock those facing trials, adding: “Without a test, you cannot have a testimony. Never laugh at somebody going through a mess because without a mess, you can never have a message.”
The former minister’s sermon comes at a time when he is reportedly under vetting by the Federal Government for a potential diplomatic appointment.
