The heartbeat of Egbaland echoed across Abeokuta as indigenes and guests gathered for the Lisabi Festival 2025, celebrating the legacy of legendary hero Lisabi Agbongbo Akala. Themed Ègbáliganza 2025, this year’s edition was a vibrant fusion of cultural heritage and modern elegance.
The festival featured the presence of dignitaries including Governor Dapo Abiodun, Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, and the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, reinforcing the event’s prestige and communal pride.
Clad in traditional Ofi, Adire, and other Afrocentric attire, attendees showcased Egba fashion and identity with flair. The grand finale sparkled with style, music, and rich cultural displays, once again uniting Egba sons and daughters from across the globe.
